Dr. Tieken has been our dentist for more than 20 years. Everyone in the office is wonderful. They all make you feel welcome and at ease. The atmosphere is very nice and relaxing. October was a fun month to visit because they had a very creative pumpkin decorating contest! I highly recommend Tieken Smiles if you're looking for a dentist!

I have been searching for a great dentist! Somewhere I feel comfortable, that I feel the office has my best interests, and receiving quality dental work that I trust. I've found that dentist and dental office! I saw Dr. Rutherford for a filling replacement today. Despite all my anxiety I have about seeing a dentist - let alone having work done, Dr. Rutherford and his team made me feel calm, relaxed, and offered a menu of relaxation services to help ease my anxiety. Truly the best dental experience I have had! I also had my teeth cleaned weeks prior to this and Darby did a great job! Everyone from the office staff, assistants, hygienists, and Dr. Rutherford himself was exceptional. I'm super thankful to have found this place!

While it was a lot to take in on a first visit, this was probably the greatest place I’ve ever had to go for an appointment across the board. It was a very clean and roomy environment, with very well utilized space. The staff were all hands down perfect which lead to a truly relaxing experience. Dr. Tieken, Darby, and everyone else really made me feel at home and were more than happy to explain everything I could want to know, and even answer some of my crazy questions. Needless to say, I’ll definitely be back!

I was so scared before my first appointment a few months ago. They immediately put me at ease and I was sold from there. All of the staff is so welcoming and friendly. Any concerns I addressed about the visit were talked through with me before and during the procedures. Knowing they cared that I was ok during the process made the biggest difference in the world to the dentistry experience. It had been way too long since I had been to the dentist due to fear. I am so glad that I found the staff at Tieken Smiles Dentistry to help me overcome this obstacle. Lindsey is the hygienist I normally go to and she is absolutely amazing to work with. Like most, I have a serious fear of anything “dentist”. I had several friends recommend Tieken Smiles with a promise they won’t hurt you and are super gentle. Well, they were right! Everyone from the front desk, to the dentist were extremely kind, patient and understanding. The dental procedure was painless and comfortable. We love visiting Dr. Tieken. His office staff is amazing! My daughter started seeing him in 2019, and now at 5 she LOVES coming to the dentist. Penny has made me feel very comfortable when getting any work done. When we go to the dentist, it feels more like a visit with old friends than a medical appointment. 10/10 I would recommend Dr. Tieken.

Best Dental office ever! Everyone is super nice and my hygienist Lindsay is always so sweet and talkative, it makes the appointment go by so quickly! Tieken Smiles Dentistry has what it takes to make the entire dental experience a complete success! Both my husband and I are new patients and have had multiple things done from cleanings to orthodontics as well as, replacing old fillings. 5 Star Dentist office. We were here from out of town and called the office for a dental emergency. Carol was so nice and friendly. She fit us in immediately. I could tell over the phone that they are so helpful. Once we visited the office, we were blown away. Everyone there from the front office to Dr. Rutherford is very friendly and welcoming. We received 5 star treatment. Our only regret is that they are not located in our hometown! We highly recommend this office to anyone that is looking for high quality and wonderful customer service.

Dr. Tieken and his team are absolutely AMAZING. My husband and I started going to them about a year ago and I couldn't be more satisfied. I have seen a major improvement on my husbands smile/teeth that other dentist have not been able to compare to. Tieken's team always has a smile on their face and will go to any length to work with their customers. We had to do a payment system for my husbands dental work and they were more than happy to help assist us. 10/10!! By far the best dentist around.

I have been coming here for several years and have always had a great experience. I'm not unlike a lot of people in that I REALLY don't like going to a Dentist. That being said, I really appreciate Dr Teiken's team and the way they conduct business aLl the way around. The office is super nice and modern, the staff makes you really comfortable and somehow I don't mind the cleanings and treatment. Obviously I'm a fan. Great choice for anyone in the Clear Lake/League City Area that is looking for a Dentist!

They got me scheduled quickly. My appointment was at 9, the procedure started at 905. Staff is very friendly. Office is clean. Had a filling replaced and didn't feel a thing.
